This page summarizes the statutory right of withdrawal that may apply to consumers in the European Economic Area, European Union, and United Kingdom. Mandatory local law prevails if it provides different or additional rights.

1. Withdrawal Period

If you qualify, you may withdraw from an eligible distance-purchase contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods. For multiple goods delivered separately, the period generally begins when the final item is received, as required by applicable law.

2. How to Exercise the Right

Before the period expires, send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw to support@montivueoptics.com. Include your name, order number, checkout email, delivery address, product, delivery date, and a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the contract.

You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory. Keep proof that the notice was sent on time.

3. Return Instructions

Wait for written return authorization and the correct logistics address. Do not send goods to the legal business address unless that exact address is expressly authorized. After notifying us, return the goods within the period required by applicable law, normally 14 days.

4. Return Costs

Unless the goods are defective, incorrect, or applicable law requires otherwise, the customer bears the direct cost of returning goods. Use secure, preferably trackable shipping and retain proof.

5. Refund After Withdrawal

Where the right applies, we will reimburse eligible payments, including the least expensive standard outbound delivery offered for the order when required by law. Extra costs caused by selecting a more expensive delivery method need not be refunded.

We will issue reimbursement within the legally required period, normally no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or you provide evidence of return, whichever occurs first, where law permits. Refunds are made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

6. Diminished Value

You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Reasonable inspection and trying on eyewear is not automatically excessive.

7. Exceptions

The withdrawal right might not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized; sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons after unsealing, where the legal exception applies; digital content supplied under the required consent conditions; or other statutory exceptions. An exception is used only where applicable law permits it.

8. Defective or Incorrect Goods

Statutory rights concerning defective, damaged, misdescribed, or incorrect goods are separate from the withdrawal right and remain unaffected.
